Invalid? Speak life...!

Are you feeling Invalid, with no value....?
Don't you feel worried and anxious about being single for a very long time....!
Are you left alone with no friends or fun because nobody values you?
What's your age? How long have you felt empty and worthless?

Relax and think with me as you have fun reading my storyboard that I just made referring John 5:2-9!

Doesn't this man's history sound empathizing..? There are times when we too feel INVALID when being helpless, forgotten, disappointed, or on the verge of giving up to try any further, but for him, it was forever, he thought he can never make it and die in hopelessness and frustration.
Just imagine putting your leg in his shoes...He was invalid for 38 years! Isn't that really long...yeah! He was lying by the side of a pool called Bethesda in Jerusalem just like that every morning and night, wishing to step into the pool right in time when the angel stirs, for the time of healing.

As we read about this man in the book of John 5 from the Bible.
He was not the only one, he had with him the blind, lame and paralyzed and they must have been sharing each other's life stories, but when he needed help for him to step into the pool, he was left paralyzed with no one to help,though he had people with him, they looked forward for their healing first and did no help or good to him, he was not considered, but tagged him INVALID and left him as he was. At times our most trusted ones may not be there with us when we really need them, this happens not just for this man right?, our family, relatives, friends, church mates and our colleagues at work act the same too!
Of course, being human!

But there is a learning from this powerful passage for all of us!

#Pour your heart to him alone!
#Humble yourself and Depend on him!
#He SPEAKS his word...which has LIFE!

No matter how invalid he was, just when JESUS walked into his life...He asks him..Do you want to be healed?

#The man out of his anxiety and worry cries out...Sir, I have no one to help or understand my pain...but as said in 1 Peter 5:7 "Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you." He pours out his heart with trust only on Jesus, believing that he alone is able to save and not anyone else. Can you recall memories where you have thought sharing your worries with a close friend thinking it would help? but has not your experience ended up make you feel even worse than before? It happens!

So friend, Take a firm decision to pour your heart first to God alone for He cares for you and me!

#And once he was in a position to be humble himself as in James 4:9  "Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up." and accepted the fact that he needs a helper, a savior, and a redeemer...he puts his dependence on God, to the one who searches and knows our heart as in Psalm 139:23 And guess what, Jesus comes to his rescue with compassion. 

Common friend, let's swallow up all our pride and let's be humble enough to share our burden and worries to God our creator, who holds our blueprint in his hands, as the Bible says he has engraved u and me in the palm of his hands, So its the best option to follow!

#He SPEAKS his word...which has LIFE!
He says Get up, take up your bed, and walk! and the Bible says "And at once the man was healed!"
Jesus also said, Not to sin anymore...!"See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you."

He expects the same with us, he wants us to value ourselves, to feel honored and to remember that our father is The King, So he speaks Life into the dead things that is holding us down in our lives, the secret sins that's haunting, the filthy language that hold backs our blessings...!

The verse in John 5:24, 25 says...
"24.Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
 25 Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of  the Son of God and those who hear will live."

How amazing is this to have a hope for eternal life assured through Jesus who is the only way.

Not only that but, when the dead things inside of you cries out to the creator as in verse 25, It will come to life...so Speak life with faith and also from the Bible everyday into yourself and for others around you in his name and be blessed...Amen!

Dear Friend in Christ, Don't forget to Live in freedom everyday..!
