I was hooked on to something I heard recently and I started thinking deeply on it...!
According to brain science our anticipation is extremely high until when we wait to receive something but once we get to the point of acquiring that something we were longing for...the excitement graph drops down so drastically from its peak.
I hope I'm not the only one who is a victim of such a thing!
But in support of this anticipation we tend to fight and start a battle to somehow win the situation. We eventually start to battle with our energy, money, society, friends, family and even our own self. For instance, Let's say your striving hard to buy an expensive mobile phone that you always wanted to buy, and you've been battling hard to show yourself how hard you had worked to buy this, you've proved yourself, and finally made it. But once you receive it in your hand you find that your brain is not experiencing the same excitement you had experienced in your wait...!
This is reality, It happens! And it is the same for all instances in life. We tend to battle with our loved ones to win over friendship goals, relationships, achievements, and dreams, but once the anticipation is satisfied we feel dry again. Once again we plan and think that if we pursue a successful career or education or anticipating something positive in future would give us a sense of satisfaction but finally we end up being dry and this cycle repeats and puts us to a toss. We then understand that neither our friends nor our family or career can give us happiness in full. And it is not our fault to feel this way unless we find a way out, the truth.
We need to understand that we have to fight the right battles with the right enemy (The Evil one) who steals our joy. John 10:10 says The thief comes to steal and kill and destroy; I(Jesus) have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. Jesus Christ is our true source of Joy, He leads us to enjoy Life in fullness, for our brain and whole being to be satisfied in him.

We need to look to him, wait for him, Psalms 42:1-2 says As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God? When this is our anticipation, we will feel whole and content without a sudden drop in excitement and it will be worth the wait.
You know what? We have no need to live a DRY Life,...Every day will be exciting if we draw near to the well that never runs dry. In John 4:13-14 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
Now that we know this amazing truth...#3 Things to Take away for an Exciting Life!
- Ask me : Ask Jesus what to do each day, he has a purpose for creating us and he knows the plans for us living everyday. We can be alive in spirit only if we are in him.
- Come to me: Jesus Says Come to Me to come Alive! Without seeking the help of man let us meet with him for help in every circumstance each day!
- Follow me: Follow Jesus, Our only role model. Our good Shepherd. Let's tell him "You lead, I'll follow Lord!"
Only these 3 are needed.
Remember that our vacuum can only be filled by our creator God who designed us in such a way that our vacuum can filled and satisfied only through him by having a relationship with him. If our relationship with him is in place, we will not feel empty or dry in life anymore. So don't forget to Ask Jesus to fill you with his holy spirit, also come closer to him and follow his ways! You will find yourself to be amazed at what had just happened to you!
May these #3 take away's for Life be a blessing in your Life and to others around you.
