Don't we feel embarrassed thinking of those awkward moments where we all have struggled to hide the anger that's pumping up? Especially for women it's so easy to express even without words resulting with either watery eyes or a red face. Know what! I've been there too! I've also tried possible funny ways to calm myself down like trying hard to make the shape of my smile to stay perfect even when tears roll down out of uncontrollable tense or trying to drink water at times to push the temper inside...(haha), these have never helped me ever; But anyways, those remain fun experiencing :P Sometimes trying to vent out by sharing with someone who understands, has also worked better than the other funny ones (but not always tho!).
So I always wanted to handle this particular emotion or feeling in a better way. I was thinking...Hmmm...?!!!!
If forgiving the one who caused this tension would be the best way to handle anger but it is not as easy as we say it right! So as a first aid to this issue I started thinking what could be the solution..?! And by the way, if you are on the same page with me, Why don't you join along and Think with me!? So let's begin our journey to process our thoughts. The times when we feel we are not understood by our loved ones, we feel so angry right? Especially the moment we try to explain our scenario in different tones and modulations, and they do not agree on it, we try ways to explain how important it is for us, and though we try to explain, it turns out that they think we are only trying to defend our cause or justifying our point of view. Eventually by the end of our debate it turns out that the concerned person is least concerned about our cause of reasoning but is taking a blunt choice on their own according to their view's best for us and that's when our temper climbs the hill top. This also gives us a picture that they are not putting their legs into our shoes but are only hurting us in the end. You might have had similar experiences too with someone either at work who mess up with you by not keeping up their word, or with your sibling for not understanding you completely, a friend for... or even your parents in unique circumstances. But on the flip side, there are chances that we might be at fault too,...as The Bible says in James 4:1 What causes quarrels and what causes fights among you? Is it not this, that your passions are at war within you? So it really matters if our cause is worthy of reasoning.
So folks I came up with these quick bites to grab when we're feeling hungry..sorry Angry!
Things that should hit our mind when we are Angry:
1. Keep your Calm : Try to think about their concerns for you, give them time to process it in their minds. Romans 12:2 says Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will. Let's give time and also take time for ourselves too. As the word also warns us to be humble as in Isaiah 5:21 Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight! It is better to think differently.
2. Hold your tongue : If you are wise, words demand that it be accompanied with wisdom when your angry. The Bible says in Proverbs 15:1, A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

3.Ask for Help : We all have a Helper that unfortunately few people are not aware of or do not realize. John 14:17 speaks about The Holy spirit our Helper, the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know him, for He abides with you and will be in you. Yes, Jesus has sent us His Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth even when we are emotionally down. Truly, we can count on him every minute, even in our bad times.
4.Find your Peace : By just thanking God and praising him for allowing that particular bothering situation will help a ton. By doing so, we constantly remind ourselves that Jesus is in control and not us, and this gives us complete peace even if we cannot understand or like the moment, and as a result we can be calm and assured that all He has in store is for our good as in Romans 8:28, And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Key Secret : Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything (Anger) by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7
